Former Board Member, Lt. Colonel Consuello A. Hodges
Lieutenant Colonel Consuello A. Hodges is the founder of Life Giving Christian Ministries; a Global Outreach Foundation located in Atlanta, GA committed to “Spiritual Development and Community Advocacy”. As the former Youth Pastor of the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Colorado Springs, CO., Lieutenant Colonel Hodges, and his wife Melissa have dedicated their lives to finding new ways to reach young people.
Lieutenant Colonel Hodges is an Active Duty officer in the United States Army, currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security for the 335th Signal Command, in Atlanta GA. He currently holds a Masters of Art in Theology and will soon complete his Masters in Divinity from Liberty University Seminary. He considers the opportunity to speak to young adults and youth one of the highest callings and greatest rewards. As Youth Works Chairman of the Colorado Springs Branch NAACP, he and his Youth Council were recognized with one of the city’s most coveted awards “Red Cross Youth Group of the year in 2013.” He has been pastoring youth for over 8 years before becoming the Senior Pastor at Cardinal Creek Chapel, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, where he accomplished a tremendous work serving the spiritual needs of the community and parishioners. He understands the sensitivities of ministering in a multi-faith environment. He is a highly effective coach and counselor and comes highly recommended across the country to speak and talk about Unity, Community, and Leadership. Lieutenant Colonel Hodges has served on multiple boards and committees to include Pikes Peak Boy Scout Council, Executive Committee NAACP as the Public Relations and Communications Chair. Although Lieutenant Colonel Hodges travels with his military job, he is a big advocate for the community, and despite hopping around from place to place for the last 20 years of his military career, he has made it a goal to give back to every community he's lived in or visited and, he encourages others to do the same.
